Kids’ Bible Clubhouse
Kids’ Bible Clubhouse
Kids’ Bible Clubhouse is the worship experience for children that occurs during the adult worship service at Christ the Redeemer Church!
The PURPOSE
For children to have fun, while learning deep truths about Jesus Christ through the study of Scripture. While their parents are hearing the scripture through a sermon, children learn scripture at their own level.
The AGE
Toddler church is for ages 2 to pre-K. KBC is divided into two classes – The younger class is for children in grades K-2 and older class is for children in grades 3-6.
These age groups are flexible. Parents are welcome to discuss their child’s placement with teachers. New parents are always welcome to come with their child to experience KBC with them.
The PROGRAM
Each Sunday, parents drop toddlers off in toddler church before finding a seat in the sanctuary. The KBC children begin church seated with their parents and then leave from the service to go to their own special room. The younger class meets in the KBC classroom which is down the hall across from the office. The older KBC members meet in the teen room which is below the sanctuary.
During their time in Bible Clubhouse, children open God’s Word, watch a video, enjoy a snack, pray, play games and win small prizes. The teachers, whom God has called to this ministry, serve on a regular schedule so they develop relationships with the children. The teachers seek not only to teach them about Jesus but love them like Jesus does.
One exciting aspect is that the children in all three groups (toddler, K-2 and 3-6) learn the same basic lesson but are taught at their age level. Families can discuss the lesson with all their children together. A web-based parent portal allows parents to see and discuss what their children learned each week.
Based on God’s instructions in Deuteronomy 6:7 the Children’s Ministry at Christ the Redeemer Church is not a “side ministry”. It is a critical ministry. Anyone who feels called to work as a teacher or helper in this ministry to children would be warmly welcomed.
