Disaster Relief
Disaster Relief
Christ The Redeemer participates in Disaster Relief for New England to make a difference in the wake of tragedies by meeting needs and sharing the love of Christ. We work to mobilize volunteers to respond to disasters around the region and across the U.S. As needed, we will partner with FEMA, the Department of Homeland Security, the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, other national volunteer organizations and local municipalities to bring both physical and spiritual relief in a variety of practical ways. This can include home assessments, flood and chain saw recovery, mass care feeding and more. In addition, we participate in training Disaster Relief Chaplains.
Christ The Redeemer had a significant role in the recovery of the area with the tornadoes in May 2018. If you are interested in learning more about volunteering for Disaster Relief, just email Jon Espeland with the button below.
