Mark started serving at Christ the Redeemer in 2012, heading up the SHIFT youth ministry and was the point person of the youth leadership team. He served in that capacity for several years, during which time he felt God moving him to focus on evangelism and outreach.
Mark has 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education from the Association of Certified Christian Chaplains and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies at Liberty University. In 2012, he became an endorsed North American Mission Board Chaplain with endorsements in law enforcement and disaster relief chaplaincy. Mark Served 25 years as a police officer where he also served as a law enforcement chaplain.
Mark serves as our Men’s Ministry pastor and organizes a yearly men’s retreat. He serves in LIFE Group leadership and our monthly Advance community outreaches. Mark also serves as a Chaplain for Corporate Chaplains of America, and he also serves as the Chaplain for the Southbury Police Department.
Mark and Veronica have been married for 28 years and have two grown daughters, Victoria and Lexie, and two younger daughters, Jaydyn and Emmy.
