AWANA
Be diligent to present yourself approved of God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15
AWANA is an international organization of children’s Bible clubs with the goal that children will come to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Its name comes from 2 Timothy 2:15, which is summarized, “A Workman Approved is Not Ashamed”. We strive to give children a solid foundation in Scripture through Bible lessons and memory verses.
Awana at Christ the Redeemer Church meets every Thursday night from 6:15-8pm starting on September 21, 2023. The children at Awana are split into four groups:
- Puggles – Toddlers
- Cubbies – Preschoolers
- Sparks – Kindergartners to 2nd graders
- T&Ts – 3rd to 5th graders
Club night includes game time, handbook time, singing, dancing and fun theme nights. Children earn uniforms and badges by completing their lessons and reciting their memory verses. There is a fee of $30 per child. Further information can be found at Awana.org or by emailing Sarah Ekman by clicking the button below.
